
Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actress, director , and producer. She is also a host of a talk show, host, and author. A member of the Barrymore family of actors, she has earned many nominations and awards, including an Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, in addition to nominations for the British Academy Film Award and seven Emmy Awards. In 2004, she was honored with an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her breakout role in E.T. made her a well-known actor for children. The Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost after a very public childhood of drug and alcohol abuse. She was the main character in a variety of successful films from the 1990s and the 2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore and Adam Sandler starred in the films The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates, Blended and Other films she's been a part of in include Firestarter and Donnie Darko. She also appeared in her first directorial film Whip It. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as well as an Golden Globe Award. She was a star in the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet.
