Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actor and a singer. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. She was raised and from Huntington Woods Michigan. She is born in Polish origin (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already an accomplished performer from a young age. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell's mother established her with an agent before she was thirteen, and she was subsequently cast in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. In addition, she is beginning private acting lessons. Bell played an uncredited part of Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the musical and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school, and she was awarded the part of Dorothy. Bell was then transferred into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater there. Bell was a graduate in 2001, decided to leave her university studies to perform in the role of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year, she was the first to be credited with Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell appeared featured in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
