She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on July 9 1983. She began her career in the field of real estate following her graduation from school. Tarek El Moussa was her potential future husband. The couple was very successful prior to the 2008 stock market crash when many real estate and home flippers collapsed. Tarek El Moussa nearly destroyed by the 2008 crash. Their apartment was $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 they were paying monthly for their house. They gradually rebuilt their business and their economy. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted the help of a friend to develop an audition tape for HGTV that featured Christina re-flipping a property from scratch. Pie Town Productions, a production company in New York City, got the tape. The couple fell in love Tarek with Christina. The deal was made by the couple to HGTV. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April of 2013. In seven seasons, the show was broadcast between 2013-2017. Christina as well as Tarek were seen buying homes which were usually located within Orange County. After spending many weeks making improvements then they'd flip the houses in order to earn some money. Tarek's primary focus is deconstruction and renovations, whereas Christina is focused on designing.
